Centre Director

Harald Linga is the Centre Director of the SWIPA and is also the research manager for the Drilling&Well Research Team within SINTEF.

Harald has over 35 years experience within research and industrial product development for the oil and gas industry. This includes positions in research organisations; SINTEF Multiphase Flow Laboratory, Christian Michelsen Research and SINTEF Petroleum Research in addition to a total of 17 years with technology vendors; OneSubsea (formerly Framo Engineering), ProSep (formerly ProPure) and Sorbwater Technology.

He holds a M.Sc. in technical physics and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
